The digital communicator is the most cost effective way of ensuring a response to your alarm system. Simply communicating basic alarm activations or more detailed information such as which detector has triggered
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Police Response
A monitored alarm system, also known
as Police Call or a Remote Signalling
system is monitored by an alarm receiving centre (ARC) 24 hrs a day.
On activation the alarm automatically informs the ARC via the digital communicator who decide what to do depending on the digital message received. The most common method is if more than one sensor detects within a given time period, the ARC will contact the Police, however on the first signal the ARC can contact your keyholders
Keyholder Response
As with Police Response, when activated, the alarm system will signal the ARC using the digital communicator. Your keyholders can then be advised of the signal recieved and if using one of the more advanced protocols (languages), the digital communicator can advise of much more detailed events such as 'Hall Sensor'. Because this process includes human response, it is far more effective than an automated speech dialer.
