Many home insurance providers offer discounts on premiums for homes with approved burglar alarm systems fitted (SSAIB or NSI) and with good reason; these homes make less claims for theft. Opportunistic thieves can be discouraged by the very sight of a burglar alarm 'bell box' on your house or by the sound of a siren or bell going off should they attempt to get into your shed or garage. Modern domestic wireless burglar alarm systems have improved massively over the last couple of years and are now very reliable. The most basic types of burglar alarm systems are based on using magnetic contacts on doors and windows which break an electric circuit when the window or door is opened. At Moore Secure we believe in more sophisticated detection, using PIR sensors, Microwave sensors and shock sensors which detect a forced entry and actually active the alarm before a thief gains entry to your home. Once the alarm has gone off it can only be de-activated by entering a security code or presenting your proximity tag.

ADE Optima was at one time the most installed alarm in the UK, however the Optima needs a little TLC.
